"Make Up or Break Up"



This Fanfic continues the story from "I Am Octavia" by EileMontyVA, I thought I write how things would end up
after Octavia had finished her performance, this is my 1st Pony fanfic, forgive me if i haven't got things right, but enjoy anyway .




Vinyl Scratch tried and tried to get in to the concert but the Security stallion wouldn't let her in, until... Vinyl could hear the
sound of Mares and Stallions stomping their Hooves and Cheering, which only meant one thing, the concert had finished, Vinyl
just dropped on the ground as she stopped trying to force her way in, she felt like bursting into tears.


Security stallion: Alright, You may enter if you wish.


Vinyl felt insulted.


Vinyl Scratch: YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH, I HAD TO CANCEL MY BIG PROJECT WITH NEON LIGHTS SO I COULD BE THERE FOR OCTAVIA
BECAUSE SHE NEEDED ME!!!


Security stallion: Well I'm sorry that you...


Vinyl Scratch: NO!!! YOU'RE NOT SORRY, OCTAVIA HAD ENDED OUR FRIENDSHIP BECAUSE I COULDN'T BE THERE, BUT WHEN SHE HUNG UP, I COULDN'T FOCUS
AFTER THAT, I HAD TO GET TO THE CONCERT TO SEE OCTAVIA PERFORM, AND NOW THAT YOU WOULDN'T LET ME IN, I'VE MISSED THE CONCERT!!!


Security stallion: Well you can tell her everything in the interval.


Vinyl Scratch: YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!! OCTAVIA WON'T WANT TO TALK TO ME AGAIN!!!


Vinyl Scratch just screamed in anger and threw her glasses on the ground with a big smash and ran off crying. Meanwhile, Octavia was in her dressing
room, she was glad that the performance went well, but she couldn't stop thinking about Vinyl Scratch as she looked into the mirror only to see what
she thought was Vinyl staring back at her. Then a Yellow Mare Unicorn with a red mane, blue eyes and a microphone cutie mark walked in to talk to Octavia.


Yellow Unicorn: Octavia that was a really great performance, you're singing was really emotional.


Octavia: Oh.. uh.. thanks..


The Mare could see Octavia didn't look happy.



Yellow Unicorn: Is there something bothering you?



Octavia knew what was bothering her, but she didn't feel comfortable talking about it.



Octavia: It's nothing... I... I need an early night.



Octavia collected her things and walked out the door. Vinyl Scratch was already home, she was packing a few things she needed
like food, water, brushes and a few bathroom toiletries, but she didn't pack any of her wubs, she was too sad to take them, she couldn't take Octavia
off her mind so Vinyl decided to leave ponyville. But before she headed out the door, Vinyl wrote a note to let Octavia know why she left her own house.
Soon as Vinyl finished, she walked out the house and had one last look at it.


Vinyl Scratch: Goodbye house, you belong to Octavia now, she'll take care of you.


And with that, Vinyl headed towards the train station as tears dropped down on the ground from her eyes, little that Vinyl know that somepony had seen her
leave,the unknown pony watched until Vinyl was out of sight.


????????: Something must be wrong, DJ-Pon3 isn't normally this sad, I'd better find out whats been going on.


The unknown pony decided to find Octavia to see what has been going on. Octavia headed out the front door, she noticed something on the ground in front
of her.


Octavia: Wait a minute, isn't that... it is... Those are Vinyl's glasses, and their smashed!



The Security stallion told Octavia that there was a white mare with a blue mane trying to get in to the concert, after hearing this, Octavia grained her
teeth.



Octavia: AND YOU DIDN'T LET HER IN!!!??? I RESERVED A SEAT JUST FOR HER.



Security stallion: Then whats all this about you ending you're friendship with this Vinyl.



Octavia suddenly froze, she then realized why Vinyl's glasses were smash, Vinyl didn't want their friendship to end, so she canceled her project with
Neon Lights just to see her friend Octavia perform, but because the Security stallion wouldn't let Vinyl in, she missed it and Vinyl thought that Octavia
wouldn't want to be her friend anymore, so she smashed her best glasses in angry and ran of crying. Octavia then began having flash back memories of all
the things Vinyl had done together with her, the good and the bad times, Octavia started crying.



Octavia: What have I done?



Before the Security stallion say anything, Octavia picked up the remains of Vinyl's glasses and ran off to find Vinyl, now Octavia regretted ending
their friendship, she ran as quickly as she could to Vinyl's house. When she got to the house, she couldn't see Vinyl anywhere, she started to worry,
she went into the the kitchen, but all she could see was a sandwich, it looked like the sandwich Vinyl made Octavia with hot sauce not too long ago,
but there was something else, it was a note, Octavia picked it up and looked at the hoof writing.



Octavia: This (Sniffs) this is Vinyls hoof writing.



She didn't want read it because she knew it would hurt her so much, but she would have too read it. The Note read....


Dear Octavia,

I've left this note to let you know why i'm not here, after you hung up on the phone, I just couldn't focus on my project with Neon Lights,
so I canceled the project and ran as fast as I could get to see you perform, I tried to get in but this big jerk of a stallion
refused to let me in. I tried and tried to get to you, but Then I heard the sound of Mares and Stallions stomping their Hooves and Cheering,
I knew then it was to late, I knew you wouldn't want to see me again, so I have decided to leave Ponyville, I'm probably on the train right now heading
away from Ponyville, so you won't have to worry about me anymore, if you want to get rid of any of my wubs, that's fine, the house is now yours,
but before I left, I made you a Sandwich, just to show I still care about you Octavia, don't worry there's no hot sauce in the sandwich this time.
I'll always remember the good times, and the bad times we shared together, I just hope you will have a better and happier life with out me.

When Octavia finished reading the note, she just couldn't hold in her tears and burst out crying.



Octavia: (Crying) OH VINYL, WHAT HAVE I DONE??!! (CRY'S EVEN MORE)



Then suddenly. there was a knock at the door, Octavia tried her best to hold in her tears while she went to answer the door, when Octavia open the
door, there was Twilight Sparkle.



Octavia: Princess Twilight?



Twilight Sparkle: Oh (giggles) just call me Twilight.



Octavia: Oh (clears throat) hello Twilight, what are you doing here?



Twilight Sparkle: I've come to see you because I saw DJ-Pon3 heading for the train station without any of her wubs, has something happened between
you two?



Octavia didn't say anything and looked at the floor, she was still thinking about Vinyl Scratch and felt like crying again. But then Octavia looked back
at Twilight, Octavia knew Twilight was the element of magic, which process the most powerful magic of all, the magic of friendship, Octavia decided to
pluck up courage and tell Twilight everything.



Octavia: Actually yes, something did happen, see what happened was I was going to perform at a concert, I invited Vinyl and saved her a seat, but Vinyl
said she couldn't make it because she was doing a project with Neon Lights. I thought I would be ok with Vinyl not coming, but then I lost it, because Vinyl had
done this so many times, I just couldn't control myself and I said to her "Consider This Friendship Over" and that was that. But then I found out that
Vinyl had tried to attend the concert, but the Security stallion wouldn't let her....



Twilight Sparkle: Whoa whoa wait, hold on, how did you know Vinyl had tried to attend the concert?



Octavia showed Twilight the broken Glasses, Twilight gasped.



Twilight Sparkle: Are those....?



Octavia nodded.



Octavia: I saw them on the ground as I was heading of for home, the Security stallion said Vinyl was trying to get in, then I realized that Vinyl means
more to me then my concert... (starts crying again) and when I got home, I found this note.... SHES GONE... AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT!!!



Octavia burst into tears again, Twilight read the note, she thought for moment, then an idea came to her.



Twilight Sparkle: (In a sweet soft voice) Octavia, don't worry, I'll help you find Vinyl Scratch, I'm sure she'll forgive you and I know it, I've been
through these kinds of situations before.



Octavia managed to stop crying and looked at Twilight, who smiled back at her, then a small smile appeared on Octavia's face.



Octavia: Thank You so much Twilight.



Twilight Sparkle: It's no trouble, come on, we best head over to the train station, I'm sure somepony will know where shes heading for.



Meanwhile, Vinyl's train arrived at the Manehattan train station, she jumped off and went of to look for a hotel to stay in. All of sudden, Vinyl
accidentally bumped into a filly, the small filly was brown, had a red mane which sometimes went over her eyes and had no cutie mark, it was Babs seed.
Babs almost didn't recognize Vinyl because she wasn't wearing her glasses, but Babs knew Vinyl's mane was blue and had a music note for her cutie mark.



Babs seed: Whoa, DJ-Pon3!!! What an honor to meet you, I love you're...



Vinyl Scratch: I'm glad that you like my music, but... I'm sorry, I'm not doing autographs or anything now, it's not the best time.



Babs just stood there as she watched Vinyl walked away, this made her worry as she decided to held home. Back in Ponyville Twilight & Octavia got to
the train station to ask if anypony knew where did Vinyl went, but the station was empty. Twilight saw the stallion in the Ticket booth and trotted over to
him.


Twilight Sparkle: Excuse me, do you know where this Pony is heading to.



Twilight showed the stallion a picture of DJ-Pon3.



Stallion Ticketmaster: Why yes I believe that mare was heading for Manehattan.



This made Octavia smile a little, now she knew where Vinyl was.



Octavia: Do you know when the next train is due.



Stallion Ticketmaster: Sorry but the next train won't be due until tomorrow at 7:30, but you can buy your tickets now for Manehattan.



Octavia was  disappointed.



Twilight Sparkle: Don't worry Octavia, we'll get up at 7:25 in the morning to catch the train to Manehattan, in the meantime, you can stay with me at
the library for tonight.



Octavia: Thanks Twilight.



Twilight & Octavia bought their tickets and headed for the library. Back in Manehattan Vinyl had checked in to the hotel, she asked the mare at the
reception desk if no pony would bother her, Vinyl knew there would be a lot of filly's, mares & Stallions who were big fans of DJ-Pon3 and wasn't in the
best mood to do any autographs.



Hotel reception mare: But of course Mrs Scratch, but how come?



Vinyl Scratch: I'm just having Friendship troubles.



The Mare said nothing after hearing that and gave Vinyl the keys to her room, she knew how hard it is to lose a friend you really care about, but said
to Vinyl "Have a nice stay" as she would say to anypony who checks in to a hotel. Vinyl walked into her room and sat on her bed, she took out a photo
frame, the picture was of Vinyl & Octavia. Vinyl couldn't help but cry as she placed the photo frame on the desk besides her bed and placed her head
against the pillow, her crying could be heard all over the hotel, the mare at the reception could hear her crying, she felt really sorry for Vinyl.


Twilight & Octavia where in the library sound a sleep, Twilight had got the spare bed (that was used for the sleep over she had with Rarity & AppleJack)
for Octavia to sleep in. Octavia found it hard to sleep, she was having a really bad dream. Octavia found herself in a dark place, she seemed
to be on her own, she had her cello with her and a crowed a mares and stallions showed up out of no where, but their faces were dull, with no expression.
Octavia thought this was very creepy and felt like something was missing. There in the distance, Octavia could see Vinyl Scratch. Octavia tried to catch up
to Vinyl, but the faster Octavia ran, the further Vinyl seem to slide away. Octavia suddenly woke up shouting "VINYL!!!! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!!!" reaching
her hoof out in front of her. This woke up Twilight & Spike.



Twilight Sparkle: Octavia, are you alright?



Spike: Whats the matter?



Octavia realized it was only a dream and felt embarrassed, but the dream felt so real, and she felt like crying again.



Octavia: I... I just had a bad dream, but it felt so real.



Spike: Princess Luna always makes our dreams feel real.



Twilight Sparkle: SPIKE!!!



Spike: Sorry.



Twilight Sparkle: Anyway, don't worry Octavia, I'm sure once we find Vinyl and get you're friendship back on track, everything will be back to normal.



Octavia just sighed in agreement and went back to sleep, Twilight thought for a moment before she went back to sleep.



Twilight Sparkle: I just hope things do end up OK in the end.



Back in Manehattan Vinyl Scratch was also finding it hard to sleep. She found herself at a DJ party and was using her favorite wubs, but Octavia came
out of nowhere and glared at Vinyl.


Octavia: ENJOY YOU'RE WUBS AND HARD CORE MUSIC, YOU WILL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN, SO GOODBYE FOREVER DJ-PON JERK!!!



As Octavia turned around, Vinyl tried to chase after her, but a force field prevented her from chasing after her. She shouted "OCTAVIA, DON'T LEAVE ME!!!"
and managed to break the force field only to wake up from her dream and fell out of her bed and on the floor. Vinyl had twisted her back leg and groaned
in pain, she managed to get up and Limped back on to her bed just as the Hotel reception mare came in.



Hotel reception mare: Mrs Scratch, are you ok?



Vinyl didn't say anything for a while, her back leg was still hurting a bit.



Vinyl Scratch: I... I just had a bad dream and fell out the bed and twisted my back leg.



Hotel reception mare: Oh my goodness, should I call for an ambulance wagon.



Vinyl shook her head and gave a very small smile to show she was brave.



Vinyl Scratch: Nah it's fine, I'm not badly injured, I'll be fine.



Hotel reception mare: If you're sure Mrs Scratch.



Vinyl nodded and the Hotel reception mare then closed the door and went back to her desk. Vinyl lay back in her bed and looked at the photo frame again
before she went back to sleep.



Vinyl Scratch: I just hope she's happy with out me.



Vinyl closed her eyes and tried to sleep, but it wasn't easy. Meanwhile, even Babs seed couldn't sleep, she couldn't stop worrying about Vinyl Scratch,
her big sister came in to her room and asked her what was the matter.



Babs seed: You see, I met DJ-Pon3 at the train station, but she didn't seem to be happy, I can't help but think that there's something is bothering her.



Babs sister understood, but told her not to worry too much and get some sleep, Babs knew it was late and decided to go to sleep. They said
goodnight to each other and Babs closed her eyes and went to sleep. The Sun was raised over Equestria by Princess Celestia, Twilight & Octavia where at
the train station waiting for the first train to Manehattan. Twilight saw that Octavia was talking to herself.



Twilight Sparkle: Octavia, are you ok?



Octavia: Huh wha??? Oh, sorry Twilight, I'm just thinking about how I'm going to say sorry to Vinyl once I see her.



Twilight Sparkle: Well I think that's a good idea, it's always a good idea to think of something before you say something.



Octavia sighed and continued thinking, then a whistle was heard as Twilight & Octavia looked to the right as the pony express train pulled into the
station. They showed their tickets to the conductor and took their seats, then with a toot of a whistle, the pony express set off
for Manehattan. Octavia just stared out the window and said to her self...



Octavia: I'm coming for you Vinyl.



Vinyl Scratch was just lying in her hotel room doing nothing, then there was a knock at the door, Vinyl Limped her way slowly to the door, her leg was still
hurting a bit after falling out of her bed last night and twisted her leg. She opened the door to see one of the hotel staff had  brought Vinyl's breakfast.
Vinyl thanked the mare and took her breakfast to her bed still Limping, the pain felt like it was getting worse.



Vinyl Scratch: Maybe I should consider going to the hospital.



Vinyl began to munch down on her breakfast as she still thought about Octavia. Meanwhile Babs was was at the train station, it was one place she could be
at without being bullied, of course if she was bullied, Babs would get her big sister to deal with them. Then the train from Ponyville arrived, Babs liked
to watch the trains and the busy crowed, then she saw Twilight with Octavia.



Babs seed: Princess Twilight & Octavia!!



Twilight Sparkle: Oh Hello Babs Seed, it's great to see you, oh and just call me Twilight. (Giggles)



Babs seed: Oh (laugh) alright, "Twilight", how are Apple Bloom Sweetie Belle & Scootaloo?



Twilight Sparkle: Oh their doing just fine, their still doing crazy things to get their cutie marks.



Babs laughed, then she looked at Octavia, Babs knew she was a famous cellist, Babs was about to say it was an honor to meet her, but she notice Octavia
was sad.



Babs seed: Excuse me Mrs Melody, but is their something wrong?



Babs question broke Octavia's thought as she looked back at the little filly.



Octavia: Oh... well you see I've had a bit of friendship troubles and I've come here with Twilight to find her.



Babs knew it was rude to ask other ponies about their business, but she wanted to know who Octavia was looking for.



Babs seed: Who are you Looking for Mrs Melody?



Octavia: Her name is Vinyl Scratch and...



Babs seed: You mean DJ-PON3!??? I saw her last night!



Octavia immediately perked up, she wasn't quiet now, as a heart began to beat faster.



Octavia: Where did you see her go?



Babs seed: I think she was heading for the hotel...



Before Babs could finish, Octavia ran off to find the hotel, but Twilight called her back.



Twilight Sparkle: Octavia Wait!!! (Octavia stops and looks back) You don't even know where it is.



Babs seed: Don't worry, I know where it is, I can take  you there.



Twilight Sparkle: Thanks you Babs.


So Twilight & Octavia followed Babs until they finally arrive at the hotel.



"This is it Octavia, you can do this, you've got to be strong" Octavia thought to herself as they walked in and up to the reception desk.



Hotel reception mare: Welcome to the Manehattan Hotel how can I help you?



Octavia took in a deep breath, and hoped for the better.



Octavia: Yes, I was wondering if this Mare has come here.



Octavia showed the Hotel reception mare two pictures of Vinyl Scratch, one with her glasses and one without her glasses.



Hotel reception mare: As a matter of fact Mrs Scratch is here, but I'm afraid she doesn't want to be disturbed by anypony, she said she's having a bit of
friendship trouble.



Octavia: Thats why I'm here... (A few tears started to fall down her face) I'm here to fix that.



Octavia explained what had happened yesterday about the concert and that she needed to say sorry to Vinyl Scratch, the Hotel reception mare thought about
this.



Hotel reception mare: Follow me, I'll take you to her room.



Octavia looked at Twilight before she went upstairs.



Twilight Sparkle: I hope everything goes ok Octavia.



Octavia smile back and said "Thank you for everything you did" and followed the Hotel reception mare upstairs.



Twilight Sparkle: Come on Babs, we should wait outside.



Twilight and Babs walked outside to wait for Octavia. Vinyl was still in bed, she hadn't even read one of the books she had packed in her bags, then there
was a knock at the door, Vinyl didn't feel like walking over to the door due to the pain in her back leg.



Vinyl Scratch: Come In.



The Door opened and the Hotel reception mare walked in.



Hotel reception mare: Mrs Scratch, you have a visitor, would you like to see her.



Vinyl knew she said she didn't want any visitors, but she felt like she needed someone to talk to.



Vinyl Scratch: (Sighs) Sure, Let her in.



Hotel reception mare walked out the room, and to Vinyl's surprise there was Octavia walking into her hotel room.



Vinyl Scratch: Octi???



Octavia didn't say anything for a moment, she was finding it difficult to speak.



Vinyl Scratch: Wha... wha.. what are you doing here!!?? How did you find me??? (tears were forming in Vinyl's eyes)



Octavia found her voice and tried to say something as she walked over to Vinyl.



Octavia: Vinyl I... I.... I......



Octavia's legs felt weak and dropped on the floor crying.



Octavia: OH VINYL I'M SO SORRY.... I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE.... I SHOULDN'T OF ENDED OUR FRIENDSHIP OVER A CONCERT, PLEASE FORGIVE ME!



Vinyl could see how sad Octavia was, Vinyl then felt like crying too, but with tears of joy. So she Limped over to Octavia.



Vinyl Scratch: (In a sad voice)
Octi, you don't have to apologize, i'm the one who should be saying sorry.



Octavia: What??? No you don't (still crying) I should of understood why you couldn't make it in the first place instead of ending our friendship.



Vinyl Scratch: No Octi, I should of told Neon Lights that you wanted me to come to you're concert, then that stallion would of let me in.



Octavia & Vinyl stayed quiet for a few seconds, until Octavia spoke again.



Octavia: Can you see it in you're heart to forgive me Vinyl, I don't want to lose you.



Vinyl was still quiet for a few seconds, but she wanted Octavia's friendship back so much.



Vinyl Scratch: Of course I can forgive you Octi, but can you forgive me?



Octavia was finally able to smile as tears ran down her face.



Octavia: Of course I can Vinyl, of course I can.



Vinyl & Octavia then hugged each other with tears of joy, but then....



Vinyl Scratch: OW!!!



Octavia: Vinyl? Whats wrong?



Octavia could see Vinyl's back leg, it had gotten worse, Vinyl was in so much pain.



Octavia: VINYL, YOU'RE BACK LEG, IT'S DISLOCATED!



Vinyl Scratch: UGH, I knew I should of gone to the hospital last night.



Octavia rushed to the nearest phone and called the Hospital. Soon the ambulance wagon had come to take Vinyl to Ponyville Hospital, as she was being
placed in the wagon, Octavia went up to the nurse.


Octavia:
Is it alright if I can come along too?



Nurse: Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't let you....



Vinyl Scratch: Oh let her come along, and her friend Twilight and the young filly too.



Babs seed: Me?? oh, I'll have ask my parents first.



Babs went quickly to let her parents what was going on. She came back smiling.



Babs seed: They said I can come too.



The Nurse thought for a moment, then decided to let them in the wagon



Nurse: Alright, climb on.



So Octavia, Twilight & Babs climbed into the ambulance wagon and the stallion's pulled the wagon towards the hospital in Ponyville. Later Twilight,
Octavia & Babs where in the waiting room, they were worried about Vinyl's back leg, then all of a sudden Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Rarity, Fluttershy,
Pinkie Pie, Spike & the Cutie Mark Crusaders came into the hospital, they had heard about Vinyl's dislocated leg. Babs was happy to see the Crusaders.


Babs Seed: Hey Crusaders, hows it going?



Apple Bloom: Babs! Its so good to see you again.



Sweetie Belle: How everything going in Manehattan?



Babs Seed: Everything is going fine, I've helped a lot of Filly's get their cutie marks and I got my big sister to help me with them bullies.



Scootaloo: Thats great, maybe you could help us get our cutie marks.


(Babs seed laughs)


Apple Bloom: So how come you're here with Twilight & Octavia?



Babs Seed: See I helped Octavia find Vinyl, they had a bit of friendship troubles, the details are kinda... well... hard to say.



The Cutie Mark Crusaders went silent after hear this.



Apple Jack: How is she Twilight?



Twilight Sparkle: The doctor said she be fine, but we haven't heard anything else.



Fluttershy: Oh I hope Vinyl recovers well.



Rarity: So do I Fluttershy.



Rainbow Dash: We all do hope she gets well, DJ-Pon3 is one of the best DJ's in all of Equestria.



Pinkie Pie: Yeah, there's no DJ who can beat her.



Octavia saw that the ponies were worried about Vinyl Scratch, this made her really happy.



Octavia: I'm really flattered for you're concern for Vinyl, it really means alot to me.



Then Twilight had an idea.



Twilight Sparkle: Hey Octavia, hows about you and Vinyl write a letter to Princess Celestia.



Octavia: What, but why?



Twilight Sparkle: With all this trouble you had with Vinyl you must of learned something about friendship and I'm sure Vinyl has learned something about
friendship too.



Octavia thought about this, and realized that Twilight was right.



Octavia: I guess you're right Twilight.



Just then, Neon Lights came in looking around with worry.



Neon Lights: IS SHE HERE, WHERE IS VINYL?



Octavia: You must be Neon Lights, Vinyl is still having her back leg fixed.



Then the Doctor came out.



Doctor: Vinyl wishes to see you.



So Twilight, Octavia, Babs, Neon and the rest went into the room, Vinyl smiled as they all walked in, she had a cast wrapped round her leg and was feeling
better after the operation. Neon was the first to speak.



Neon Lights: Vinyl, are you ok, what happened to you?



Vinyl Scratch: Neon! Wasn't excepting to see you, yeah I'm alright, see When I was at the Manehattan Hotel I had a bad dream which made me fall out of the
bed and twisted my leg, it wasn't as bad then, but the next day the pain got worse and my leg ended up dislocated.



Neon Lights: What where you doing at Manehattan in the first place?



Vinyl Scratch: I'll tell you later... and Octavia...



Octavia: Yes Vinyl?



Vinyl Scratch: I just want to thank you for calling for an ambulance as quickly as you could.



Octavia began to tear up again, Vinyl was tearing up again too.



Octavia: It was no trouble Vinyl, I'm just glad we're friends again, but lets keep it that way.



Vinyl Scratch: Agreed.



Everypony was touched and they felt like crying too, until Twilight broke the silence.



Twilight Sparkle: Octavia, are you ready to write you're letter to Princess Celestia?



Octavia: Sure, when ever Spike's ready.



Spike: Ready when you are.

Vinyl Scratch: Wait, what going on?



Octavia: You see Vinyl, Twilight said I should write to Princess Celestia about what I have learned about Friendship and you should write a letter too.



Vinyl thought about this for a moment, she then knew Octavia was right.



Vinyl Scratch: You're right, cause I did learn something about Friendship.



Twilight smiled.



Twilight Sparkle: Care to share what you've learned first Octavia?



Octavia: I'd be glad too Twilight.



Octavia was ready to say what she has learned and Spike was ready to write the letter.



Octavia: Dear Princess Celestia,

Today I learned a very important lesson about Friendship, I've learned that sometimes, when you invite you're friends to something, you can't always
expect them to come if they can't make it, and there is no reason to just end you're friendship cause because they always can't make it. You should
understand the reason why they are unable to make it and there are loads of opportunities to invite you're friends another time. And I realized
that Vinyl Scratch means more to me then my concert, without Vinyl, my life wouldn't be complete.

EveryPony thought that was a wonderful friendship report, Spike then rolled up the scroll and sent it to Celestia.



Octavia: You're turn Vinyl.



Vinyl Scratch: Right (clears throat).



Spike got ready to write down the next report.

Vinyl Scratch: Dear Princess Celestia,

Today I learned that Friendship Is more Important than my Wubs or any of my projects. When I said I couldn't attend Octavia's concert,
Octavia said our friendship was over and when she hung up on the phone, I couldn't focus on my project. So I just left Neon Lights just so I could be
there for Octavia. But I never got in because the Security stallion stopped me, and because I couldn't get in to the concert, the concert was over, I
missed it. I Thought Octavia would never want to see me again, so a ran away to Manehattan, but then, Octavia found me and said she was sorry.  
She found out that I did try to see her Perform. I saw that she couldn't be without me either. But what I learned the most Is that you should always be
there for you're friends for when they need you. So from now on, I shall make arrangements to say when I am free for when ever Octavia needs me.

Spike rolled up the scroll and sent it to Celestia, Twilight was really happy.



Twilight Sparkle: I'm very proud of you two, and I'm sure Celestia will be very pleased to read the latest reports on friendship.



Vinyl & Octavia smiled in agreement, then Neon Lights walked up, after hearing Vinyl's letter to the Princess he now knew why Vinyl hadn't been
able to focus on their big project.



Neon Lights: Vinyl, I had no idea, that.... well, Octavia means so much to you. I was really worried about you when you didn't come back after
you left.



Vinyl Scratch: Yeah well, I guess I should of called you first, but I was too upset then, and I left my phone in the house.



Neon Lights: Well, I'm glad you're ok now. (Turns to the doctor) How long do you think she'll fully recover doctor?



Doctor: Well I'd say about 14 days or less, it depends how long Vinyl's leg with recover.



Neon Lights understood, then turned back to Vinyl.



Neon Lights: Well Vinyl, hope you recover very soon, I got to head back to the nightclub, they'll be some Ponies there to party, I'll get them to sign
a get well soon card for you.



Vinyl Scratch: Awesome, See ya Neon.



Neon said goodbye and headed out the hospital, then the nurse walked in.



Nurse: Alright everypony, Vinyl needs her rest.



So everypony walked out of the room and wished Vinyl to get well soon, Cutie Mark Crusaders were excited to spend time with Babs Seed.



Babs Seed: So what should we do together?



Apple Bloom: We could all go and get some Milkshakes at Sugarcube Corner.



Scootaloo: Sounds good, count me in.



Sweetie Belle: Me too, race yer there.



So the four filly's were off in a flash. Before Rainbow Dash lefted, she gave Vinyl a Daring Do book.



Rainbow Dash: It's just in case you get bored, when I was stuck in hospital, all I had was a Daring Do book to read which I wasn't really keen
at first, but once I read it, I started to like reading.



Vinyl smiled and thanked Rainbow Dash for the book.



Twilight Sparkle: Dash, are you coming?



Rainbow Dash: Oh, yeah, coming.



Rainbow Dash headed after the others, Twilight saw Octavia was still with Vinyl.



Twilight Sparkle: Octavia, aren't you coming as well?



Octavia: Oh, right, just hold on a sec (Turns to Vinyl) Well Vinyl, I hope you're back leg recovers very soon, I'll come visit you everyday whenever
I can.



Vinyl gave a sleepy smile.



Vinyl Scratch: Thanks Octavia....



And Vinyl fell asleep, Octavia smiled back.



Octavia: Sleep well Vinyl.



Octavia then trotted off to join the others, she have one last glance at Vinyl and headed out the hospital. About two weeks later, Twilight, Rainbow Dash,
Apple Jack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Spike, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Babs seed, Octavia & Neon Lights were in the waiting room, they had
heard Vinyl was being checked out the hospital. Then the doors opened as the nurse pushed Vinyl on a wheelchair, she still had the cast on her leg,
Everypony was happy to see Vinyl looking better.



Vinyl Scratch: (Sighs) It feels so good to be out of that bed.



Twilight Sparkle: I'm glad that you doing great, oh and Octavia has something for you.



Vinyl Scratch: Really?



Octavia walked over and gave Vinyl a present.



Pinkie Pie: I Helped Octavia with the wrapping paper and the pretty bow! (squees)



Vinyl Opened the present, when she looked inside, she gasped, inside was a new pair of DJ Glasses just like her old ones.



Vinyl Scratch: Oh Octi, thank you so much.



Octavia: You're very welcome Vinyl (walks over to Vinyl and hugs her, Vinyl hugs back) it's the least I could do.



All the ponies felt like crying with of joy, but manage to hold the tears back.



Pinkie Pie: Hey, we should have a party for Vinyl Scratch & Octavia... TO SUGARCUBE CORNER!!!



Quick as a wink Pinkie was gone, everypony thought a party was a great idea.



Twilight Sparkle: Well I think a party sounds like a great idea, Wait for us Pinkie Pie.



Twilight then raced after Pinkie followed by the rest, Octavia then offered to help Vinyl get to Sugarcube Corner on her wheelchair, Vinyl smiled at
Octavia who smiled back.



Vinyl: Now I can definitely come to this party for you Octi.



Octavia giggled and pushed Vinyl's wheelchair all the way to Sugarcube Corner.
